Terms of Service

Welcome to GLAMAWAY. These Terms of Service outline the terms and conditions that apply when you rent a styling tool from GLAMAWAY. By placing a rental order, you agree to these terms.

1. Rental Agreement

GLAMAWAY provides travel-compatible hair styling tool rentals for customers traveling to destinations using 220–240V electrical systems.

When you complete a rental booking, you agree to:

• Provide accurate personal and shipping information.

• Use the rental equipment responsibly and according to manufacturer instructions.

• Return the rental equipment and all included accessories within the required return timeframe.

• Accept responsibility for the equipment during your rental period.

2. Eligibility

To rent from GLAMAWAY, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Provide accurate billing, contact, and shipping information.

• Provide a valid payment method for your rental and required security deposit.

GLAMAWAY reserves the right to refuse or cancel rental requests at its discretion.

3. Rental Period

Rental periods are selected at checkout and are subject to availability.

• Minimum rental period: 7 days

• Maximum rental period: 42 days

Your rental period begins on the selected rental start date and ends on the selected rental end date.

A 1 day return grace period is provided after your rental end date to allow time for return shipping.

4. Security Deposit

A $550 CAD refundable security deposit is required for every rental.

The security deposit is collected at checkout and is used to protect against:

• Lost or stolen equipment

• Damage beyond normal wear and tear

• Missing accessories or rental items

• Late returns

• Failure to return the rental

The deposit will be refunded after the rental has been returned and inspected, provided no applicable charges are required.

If charges exceed the security deposit amount, you remain responsible for the remaining balance.

5. Use of Rental Equipment

Customers agree to use rental equipment safely and appropriately.

You must:

• Follow all manufacturer instructions.

• Use the tool only with compatible electrical systems.

• Use the tool only in destinations with 220–240V power systems.

• Use a plug adapter if required for your destination.

You must not:

• Use voltage converters or transformers with the rental.

• Modify, repair, or attempt to open the equipment.

• Use the equipment in unsafe conditions.

• Allow unauthorized individuals to use the rental.

GLAMAWAY is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, incorrect voltage, improper handling, or failure to follow safety instructions.

6. International Travel & Voltage Compatibility

GLAMAWAY rentals are designed for use in 220–240V destinations, including many countries throughout Europe and other regions worldwide.

Customers are responsible for confirming that their destination uses a compatible electrical system.

A plug adapter may be required depending on your destination.

Using the rental with incompatible voltage, voltage converters, or improper electrical equipment may result in damage and will be considered misuse.

7. Shipping and Delivery

GLAMAWAY currently only ships to addresses in Canada and the USA.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

We recommend selecting rental dates that allow sufficient time for delivery before your departure.

While GLAMAWAY works to ensure timely delivery, carrier delays may occur outside of our control. We will assist customers with delivery issues whenever possible.

8. Returns and Late Fees

Customers must return the rental using the provided packaging and prepaid return label.

A 1 day return grace period is included after the final rental date.

If the rental is not shipped back within the return grace period, late fees may apply.

Late returns may result in a charge of $20 CAD per additional day.

Continued failure to return the rental may result in additional charges, including replacement costs.

9. Damage, Loss, and Missing Items

Customers are responsible for the rental equipment from the time it is delivered until it is returned to GLAMAWAY.

Charges may apply for:

• Lost or stolen equipment

• Damage beyond normal wear and tear

• Missing attachments, accessories, or included items

• Damage caused by misuse or improper use

Normal wear from proper use is accepted.

10. Cleaning and Quality Assurance

Every GLAMAWAY rental is inspected, cleaned, sanitized, and tested before being shipped to another customer.

Customers do not need to clean the rental before returning it, but excessive buildup or damage caused by misuse may result in additional charges.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

Rental cancellations and refunds are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that rental inventory is reserved specifically for your selected dates.

12. Limitation of Liability

GLAMAWAY is not responsible for:

• Personal injury resulting from misuse of rental equipment.

• Damage caused by incorrect voltage use or improper handling.

• Delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances outside of our control.

Customers are responsible for using rental equipment safely and appropriately.

13. Changes to These Terms

GLAMAWAY reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
